The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has welcomed Kenyans to an elections conference, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
The three-day conference which kicked off, Monday June 12, allows Kenyan citizens to gauge IEBC’s election preparedness, even as August 8, elections date draw closer.
“Come and interact with our multi-sectoral National Election Conference organised by both state and non-state actors. There are various booths on election, democracy and citizen engagement in politics. Among them includes youth agenda,” IEBC said, in an update.
Some of the stakeholders at the conference which ends Wednesday June 14 include: Media Council of Kenya (MCK), Uwiano platform, National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC), Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC), Ethics and Ant-Corruption Commission, among others.
