Machakos governor aspirant Wavinya Ndeti is a happy person, after her woes came to an end, Wednesday morning.
The High Court cleared the Wiper candidate to vie, following a case in which political parties dispute tribunal had disqualified her candidature.
She was barred on allegations that she was a member of two parties, CCU and Wiper, during her nomination.
Wavinya who faces competition from incumbent governor Dr Alfred Mutua, could not hide her joy when she was vindicated.
She took to her social media account and shared the below message.
It is with profound confidence and gratitude that I would like to thank the people of Machakos for your never ending support and patience.
We have passed yet another huddle and I believe we have the tenacity to spur through to the 8.8.17. May you maintain calm and keep soldiering on as the big day comes close I know triumph beckons us.
Our great God will always be with us and see us through all difficulties put on our way. Thank you for your support Machakos people. The justice had its way and it will do it again on 8.8.17. May God bless you and our great county.
