President Kenyatta’s schedule ahead of General Nkaissery’s burial

President Uhuru Kenyatta will tour Siaya, Kisumu and Homa Bay Counties, Wednesday.

This is according to State House spokesperson, Manoah Esipisu.

Uhuru will then return to Nairobi to attend the opening ceremony of the World Junior Athletics Championships, late on Wednesday.

On Thursday, July 13, Uhuru will attend the requiem mass for the late Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary, Major-General (Rtd) Joseph Ole Nkaissery, at a Nairobi church.

On Friday, the president will travel to Laikipia County to attend the burial ceremony of the late area Senator G.G Kariuki, an ally and towering figure in Kenya’s post-independence history.

On Saturday, July 15, President Kenyatta will attend the burial of Nkaissery, at his Bisil home, in Kajiado County.
